Walnut: - Leonard L. Andersen, 72, died
Wednesday p.m. at Perry Memorial Hospital Hospital, Princeton.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m.
at the Ross Funeral Home with the Rev. Eugene Spradling, pastor of the First
Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Cemetery.
Friends may visit Friday evening at the funeral home. A memorial has been
established in his honor.
Mr. Anderson was born Oct. 8, 1898 at Walnut,
the son of Louis and Magdalena Jurgensen Andersen. He married Helen Gonigam
on Dec. 25, 1924.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Neale,
Toronto, Canada; one daughter, Mrs. Roy A. (Jean) Atherton, Walnut; eight
grandchildren; five brothers: Chris, Kewanee; Harry Leon, Harvey and Loyal,
all of Walnut and one sister, Mrs. Lester (Anne) Jontz, Princeton. He was
preceded by his parents and two brothers, Arlie and Elmer.
