Alfred W. Anderson, Retired Farmer Dies
Manlius: Alfred W. Anderson, 71, 516 N. Pleasant St., Princeton, retired
farmer of the Manlius area, died Monday evening in Perry Memorial Hospital
at Princeton. The body was removed to the Howard Johnson Funeral Home at
Manlius where arrangements were completed. It was taken to the family home
in Princeton where friends may call Thursday evening. Funeral services will
be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church at Princeton, the Rev.
Clarence Person, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Elm Lawn
Cemetery at Princeton.
Mr. Anderson was born Oct. 14, 1885, in Princeton Township, the son of John
and Ellen Nelson Anderson. He was married Feb. 4, 1911, at Chicago to Mary
Henrickson. He was a member of the First Baptist Church at Princeton.
Survivors are his widow; four sons George, Wyanet; Niles, Buda; Virgil,
Sheffield; Lloyd, Glenview; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He
was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.
