BERNICE (Gabel) BOURQUIN - Mrs. Frank (Bernice) Bourquin, 83, of 404 Whitver St., Walnut, died Sunday at KSB Hospital, Dixon. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church with Rev. Richard Fagan officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Cemetery.

 Visitation is Monday from 7-9 p.m. at the Ross Funeral Home with the Rosary being recited at 8 p.m. A memorial has been established.

She was born May 28, 1895 in Apple River, Ill., the daughter of Henry and Rose Budenz Gabel. She married Frank Bourquin on July 1, 1919 in Apple River and the couple moved to Walnut in 1936. He preceded in death in 1975. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and the Altar and rosary Society.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Eldoras White of Spring Valley, Mrs. Louis (Geraldine) Gonigam of Walnut, and Mrs. Danny (Betty) Sapp of Pekin; one son, Kenneth of Manlius; one sister, Mrs. Mamie Redington of Freeport; 21 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother in infancy.
