Harry A. Buxton, 75, Walnut Farmer Dies

Walnut: - Harry A Buxton, 75, a farmer in this area died unexpectedly Thursday night at his home.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church, Rev. Edgar Taylor will officiate. Friends may visit at the family home Sunday morning and evening. The rosary will be recited at the family home Sunday at 8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Tampico.

Mr. Buxton was born Sept. 10, 1886 at Deer Groves, the son of Charles and Susan Renner Buxton. He was married to Julia Henrekin on Jan. 10, 1912 in Tampico.

Survivors are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Paul (Helen) Egan of Rock Falls, Mrs. Francis (Mary Sue) Dabler of Manlius, Mrs. Gail (Rita Madge) Linderlorf of Tampico; three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Nelson of Malden, Mrs. Ruth O'Connell of Sterling, and Mrs. Nettie Kochler of Peoria; 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother and sister.
