OBITUARY
Rites on Saturday for Mrs. Carroll
Funeral services were held Saturday at 3 p.m.
for Mrs. Benjamin Carroll, 70, at the Norberg Memorial Funeral Home. a
32-year resident of Princeton, she died at her home, West Marquette street
Thursday.
The Rev. Harris, pastor of the Tiskilwa
Pentecostal church officiated and interment was in the Oakland cemetery.
Born Sept. 11, 1884, in Hodgenville, Ky., she was the daughter of George and
Mary Reed Milby.
The former Litha Ann Milby was preceded in death
by her husband, Benjamin in 1953 and is survived by 13 children: Mrs. Luther
Salsman, Mrs. Steele, Luther Carroll, Claude Carroll, Riley Carroll, Edward
Carroll, Mrs. Laverne Anderson and Gilbert Carroll, all of Princeton; Earl
Carroll, LaFayette; Mrs. Henry Lampkin, Bureau; Mrs. Ben Sterling, Washburn;
Howard Carroll, Norristown, Pa.; and Max Carroll, Buda. She is also survived
by 27 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
