LEO CHRISTENSEN - Walnut: - Leo Christensen, 62, of Rt. 1, Front Royal, Va., died Tuesday at Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal, Va. Cremation rites were accorded. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Walnut Cemetery with Rev. Harold Burkey, pastor of Princeton Bible Church, officiating. There will be no visitation. Walnut American Legion Post 179 will conduct graveside military rites. Garland Funeral Home, Walnut, is in charge of local arrangements.

Mr. Christensen was born May 4, 1928, in Walnut, the son of Ernest and Fern Marie (Albus) Christensen. He married Betty Jane Gustafson. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was owner and operator of Vintage Aviation at Front Royale Warren County Airport. He was a member of the EAA Association, Warbirds, and Alcoholics Anonymous.

He is survived by his wife; his mother, Fern Savory, Hanes City, Fla.; one son, Rodney Christensen, Pittsburg, Pa.; two daughters, Rosile Jenkins, Stafford, Va.; Reta Woods, Woodbridge, Va.; one brother, Donald Christ, Walnut; seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.
