Mrs. Anna Conley Succumbs Saturday
Walnut: - Mrs. Anna Conley, 79, of rural
Walnut, passed away unexpectedly Saturday afternoon in her home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m.
in the Ross Funeral Home, the Rev. Donald Whitehead, pastor of the First
Christian Church officiating, with burial in Walnut Cemetery. Friends
may call at the funeral home tonight (Monday). A memorial has been
established for the First Christian Church.
Anna Conley was born Feb. 14, 1889 in Greenville
Township, Bureau County, the daughter of William and Clara Montgomery Adams.
She was educated in the Greenville schools and lived in Greenville Township
all her life. She married Thomas Conley on May 11, 1908.
She is survived by three sons, Clyde of
Mishawaka, Ind., Elton of Walnut; Marion of Sterling; 13 grandchildren and
18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents and her husband
in March 1948.
