OBITUARY
Marvin Forristall
PRINCETON -- Marvin Charles Forristall, 84, of
1024 Ina Drive, Princeton, died at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2004, at his
home.
Born May 10, 1919, in Berlin Township in Bureau
County to Otto F. and Mabel J. (Watkins) Forristall, he married Martha F.
Fenwick on May 2, 1943, in the Malden Methodist Church. She survives.
He farmed all of his working life, retiring in
1981. He also operated numerous enterprises. He was a member of the Malden
Methodist Church, Optimist Club, past board member for Malden High School,
and MORROW parish council member.
Also surviving are two daughters, Karen (David)
Nelson of Macomb, and Beth Forristall of Princeton; two sons, Gary (Kim)
Forristall of rural Princeton, and Alan (Mary) Forristall of Princeton;
seven grandchildren, Philip (Wendy) Nelson of Greenville, Anna Nelson of
Amherst, N.Y., Paul (Carrie) Forristall of Des Moines, Iowa, Christopher
Forristall of Sioux City, Iowa, Elizabeth Altmayer of Phoenix, Ariz., Katie
Forristall of Princeton, and Nick Forristall of Princeton; and two
great-grandchildren, Samantha Payton Forristall, and Riley Philip Nelson.
His parents, one sister, Lilla Holloway; and two
brothers, Leroy Forristall and Robert Forristall all preceded him in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the
Norberg Memorial Home, the Rev. Alan Meyer and the Rev. Paul Nolden
officiating. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Memorial Park in Princeton.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at
Norberg Memorial Home.
Memorials may be made to the Malden Methodist
Church, Illinois Valley Hospice, American Cancer Society, or donor's choice.
