GRACE A. (Renner) FOY

Mrs. Grace A. Foy, 88, Walnut, died Thursday afternoon in Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton. Funeral services for Mrs. Foy will be Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at the Allen-Garland Funeral Home in Walnut, with Rev. Gene Gebhardt, pastor of the First Christian Church of Walnut, officiating. Burial will be in Tampico Memorial Cemetery in Tampico. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday evening from 7-9 p.m. A memorial has been established to the Walnut Manor Nursing home and the Gateway Center in Princeton.

Mrs. Foy was born on April 19, 1892 in Bureau County, the daughter of Morgan and Rebecca Nelson Renner. She was united in marriage to Earl Foy on March 6, 1913 in Tampico. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Hamilton Club of Walnut.

Survivors include one son, John H. Foy, Rt. 1, Walnut; one granddaughter; two step-granddaughters; six step-great granddaughters; two sisters, Mrs. Esther Dow of East Moline and Mrs. George (Sarah) Hansen of Tampico; one brother, Jim Renner of Carlton, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, two half sisters, and three half brothers.
