Raymond Funderburg Dies In Princeton

Lanark: - Raymond S. Funderburgh, 65, died Wednesday afternoon Aug 9, at the Perry Memorial Hospital at Princeton, Ill. He was visiting relatives there and died after a short illness.

He was born Sept. 16, 1895, the son of George and Nellie Vickrey Funderburgh. He married Mary Milby in 1916 at Dixon. He was a farmer and also a pastor of Mt. Sherman Church at Magnolia, Ky.

Surviving are his wife and daughter, Mrs. Gilbert Johnson, Tiskilwa; three sons, Reuben of Bradford, Raymond of Dover, and Charles of Tiskilwa; 19 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He also leaves several cousins at Erie, Morrison and Prophetstown, an uncle, R. G. Funderburgh of Lyndon and a cousin, Walter Funderburgh of Sterling.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter and one sister.

Funeral services were held at the Hughes Funeral Home, Tiskilwa. Burial was in the Mason Cemetery, Dover.
