Raymond Gorman, 65, Dies This Morning
Walnut: - Raymond Gorman, 65, lifelong
resident of the Ohio community, passed away at 6:30 this morning at the
Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton, where he entered Sunday afternoon.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10
a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church of Ohio, the Rev. Edgar Taylor
officiating, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ohio.
Raymond Gorman was born March 29, 1903 in East
Grove Township, Lee County, the son of William and Ann O'Hare Gorman. He
graduated from Ohio High School with the class of 1921. He married Helen
McCormick of Ohio on Jan. 23, 1930. He was a member of the Immaculate
Conception Church of Ohio. He was an employee of Gonigam Bass Hill Inc., in
Walnut for many years and was currently employed by Gildersleeve Seed Co.
He is survived by his widow, one son Richard of
Ladd; four grandchildren, one brother Stephen of Ohio; two sisters, Mrs.
Philip (Helen) Dome, and Mrs. Hans (Ethel) Fiedler, both of Spokane, Wash.
He was preceded by his parents, one sister Grace Anderson and four brothers,
Leo, William, Harry and Vincent.
