Donald W. Grabill, 86, of Princeton died Monday,
March 3, 2008, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton.
Born May 1, 1921, in Dover to Donald and Celia
(Wilson) Grabill, he married Elsie Bundy Oct. 3, 1943. She died in 1995.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He owned and operated Grabill Trucking.
He was a member of American Legion Post 125,
Princeton VFW and Bureau County Racing Association.
Surviving are two daughters, Cathy (James) Mecum
of Buda and Susan Grabill of Princeton, one son, Bruce (Kathy) Grabill of
Texas; three brothers, Charles Wright of Zearing, and Max Wright and Ferris
Wright, both of Malden; two sisters, Doloris Karns of Zearing and Ruth Karns
of Princeton; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his parents;
one son, David Grabill, in 1987; and one great-grandchild, Aiden John
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the
Norberg Memorial Home, Princeton, with Pastor Doug Kirkpatrick officiating.
Burial will follow in the Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Princeton.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday in
the funeral home.

Fair and Speedway.
