OBITUARY
LEO F. GREENWOOD
Walnut: - Leo F. Greenwood, 82, of Walnut,
died Tuesday, June 24, 1997, at Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday
at Yorktown Cemetery, Yorktown, with the Rev. Pearle Lange, pastor of
First Christian Church, Walnut, officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8
p.m. Friday at Garland Funeral Home, Walnut.
A memorial has been established for First
Christian Church, Walnut.
Mr. Greenwood was born Feb. 1, 1915 in Tampico,
the son of Forrest and Matie (Bunker) Greenwood. He married Betty J.
Brightman on March 30, 1947, in Erie. She died May 29, 1982. He was employed
at Fink Motor Sales for 25 years, and at Walnut Manor Nursing home for 20
years. He was a member of First Christian Church and Walnut American Legion
Post 179.
Survivors include one son, Toby Lee Greenwood of
Albany, Ga., one brother, Dale Greenwood of Tampico, and several nieces and
nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son.
