Mrs. C. Grubaugh Dies In Peoria

Manlius: - Mrs. Chester (Bertie M.) Grubaugh, 65, died Friday night in Methodist Hospital, Peoria. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the United Methodist Church of Sheffield with the Rev. Richard Huckins officiating. Burial will be in the Buda Cemetery.

There is visitation from 7-9 p.m. Monday in the Howard Johnson Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to the United Methodist Church of Sheffield.

Mrs. Grubaugh was born August 21, 1908 in Wyanet Township, the daughter of Logan and Emma Morris. She was united in marriage with Chester Grubaugh Dec. 24, 1926 in Buda who preceded her in death in 1959.

Mrs. Grubaugh made her home with her sister Mrs. Mary Ballard in Manlius and until recently with her daughter, Mrs. Clarence Chamberlain in Bartonville. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, WSC and Royal Neighbors of America in Sheffield.

Surviving are four daughters and three sons, Mrs. Clarence (Anne Mae) Chamberlain of Bartonville, Mrs. Charles (Elenor) Keller of Naples, Fla., Mrs. Kenneth (Chloe) Kamin of Peoria, Mrs. Francis (Patricia) Jackson of Wyoming, Ill., Chester L. of North Highland, Calif., Frederick M. of Geneseo and James Robert of Kewanee. She also leaves four sisters and one brother, Mrs. Mary Ballard and Mrs. Maragret Wheeler of Manlius, Mrs. Michael (Elizabeth) Cleary of Wyanet, Mrs. Ada Johnston of White Cloud, Mich., Eugene Morris of Princeton, 25 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
