EMMA LOU (Bohm) GUSTAFSON

Last Rites Set For Mrs. Carl Gustafson

Walnut: - Funeral services for Mrs. Carl Gustafson, 38, who passed away Tuesday in Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the First Christian Church of Walnut. The Rev. Donald Whitehead will officiate, with burial in Walnut Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Ross Funeral Home, Wednesday, (tonight). Memorials may be directed to the First Christian Church or the Cancer Fund.

Emma Lou Bohm was born July 20, 1930 near Walnut, the youngest daughter of William and Frieda Stier Bohm. She was educated in the Walnut area schools and in 1948 graduated from Walnut High School. She married Carl Gustafson on Dec. 26, 1948. She was a member of the Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Carla and Sharon, both at home; three brothers, Leonard and Harold Bohm, both of Walnut; Loyal of Lacon; two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Darlene) Woellert of Tampico, Mrs. Jack (Pearl) Wangelin of Manlius.

She was preceded by her parents and two brothers.

Funeral Service: - July 12, 1968

Funeral services for Mrs. Carl Gustafson, Walnut, were held on Thursday afternoon from the First Christian Church of Walnut, with the Rev. Donald Whitehead, pastor, officiating. Mrs. Richard DeWaele and Mrs. Everett Larson were the vocalists and Mrs. John Foss was organist. Casket attendants were William Lind, Lowell Rote, Edd Schrader, Milford Hoffman, Dean Ganschow, Irvin Hasenyager. Interment in Walnut Cemetery.
