KURT J. GUSTAFSON - age 44, of 305 Brewer Circle, Walnut, Ill., died Sunday morning (Dec. 16, 2007) at CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL.

Kurt was born on September 1, 1963 at Princeton, IL., the son of Raymond and Dorothy Vetter Gustafson. He grew up in the Tampico and Walnut area and was presently employed by Wolf Farms in Walnut, IL.

He is survived by his mother Dorothy Gustafson of Walnut, Il., one son Raymond of Geneseo, Il., one daughter Edythe of Geneseo, Il., two sisters Elaine Forward of Sterling, Il., and Kathy Thompson of Walnut, Il., one brother Kenyon Thompson of Deer Grove, Il., and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond, one brother Neil Gustafson, and one sister Sylvia Thompson.

Kurt's body was cremated and memorial services will be conducted on Wednesday at 2:00 PM in The Garland Funeral Home in Walnut with Rev. Brian Moore, pastor of The First Christian Church at Walnut officiating. A gathering of friends will be on Wednesday from 1:00 PM until the time of the services. His cremains will be buried at a later date in The Walnut Cemetery. A memorial has been established in his memory.
