Howard Hamilton Dies Wednesday

Manlius: - Howard B. Hamilton, 70, East Peoria, formerly of New Bedford, died Wednesday in Methodist Hospital, Peoria.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Howard Johnson Funeral Home at Manlius with the Rev. Jon Strolberg, pastor of the New Bedford Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Princeton. Friends may visit the funeral home Friday from 7-9 p.m.

Howard Hamilton was born Feb. 17, 1903 at New Bedford, the son of George W. and Edna Booth Hamilton. He was married to Janice Wright in 1931 at New Bedford. He was a veteran of WW II.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Patricia) Ptack, Little Rock, Ark.; one son, Richard Darrell, Denver, Colo.; five grandchildren, two brothers, Kenneth, Sterling; and Stanley, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and one sister, Mrs. Leonard (Bess) Hansen, Sheffield. He was preceded in death by one brother in infancy.
