Services Held Monday For Raymond Hess

Walnut: - Funeral services were held Monday morning at the Schmidt Funeral Home in Dundee, for Raymond Hess of Carpentersville, who died Friday evening in St. Joseph's Hospital, Elgin, after a short illness.

Rev. Clyde O. Cress, pastor of Our Savior Lutheran Church, officiated at the rites and interment was made in Elm Lawn Cemetery, Princeton at 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon. A memorial has been established for the Lutheran Church of Our Savior.

Surviving is his wife, Florence; one daughter, Mrs. Max (Florence) Sabin of Walnut; two grandchildren, Ray Sabin and Mrs. Ronald Wolf, Walnut. He was preceded in death by one brother.
