Henry B. Jacobs, 63, Of Walnut Dies

Walnut: - Henry B. Jacobs, 63, of Walnut, Route One, died unexpectedly Thursday afternoon in his home. There will be visitation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Chapel Hill Funeral home, Dixon. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home by the Rev. William Ufkes of the First Lutheran Church of Ohio. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Park, Dixon. A memorial fund has been established for the First Lutheran Church of Ohio.

Henry B. Jacobs was born March 28, 1908 in Amboy, son of Ben and Hannah Lehman Jacobs. He was united in marriage with Elsie Schaefer Feb. 21, 1934 in Dixon. He farmed many years in the Amboy and Harmon areas.

Surviving with the widow are three daughters and two sons, Mrs. Tom (Anita) Edmundson of Hendersonville, N.C., Mrs. Jerry (Arline) Fritz of Stockton, Mrs. Neil (Leona) Rosene of Ohio, Duane of Walnut and Mark at home. He also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Frieda Brown who resides at Colonial Acres Rest Home, Rock Falls, Mrs. Kathryn Knapp of Amboy and Mrs. Elbert (Ruth) Bohn of Dixon, four brothers, John and George of Harmon and Emil and Onno of Dixon and nine grandchildren. His parents and one son preceded in death.
