Spring Valley: - Arlene Jensen, 64, of 711 W. St. Paul St., Spring Valley, formerly of Sterling, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 1997, at her home.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Hollowayville, with the Rev. Wayne Derber officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Barto Funeral Home, Spring Valley, and from 10-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Mrs. Jensen was born July 1, 1933, in DePue, the daughter of William and Lovina (Fiste) Flohr. She married Richard Jensen on Oct. 25, 1952, at Emmaus Lutheran Church, McNabb. She was employed at Haskell Office Equipment Company, Sterling, prior to retiring. She was as member of the Ladies Auxiliary and the Sterling Moose Club.

Survivors include her husband, Richard of Spring Valley; two sons, Richard E. Jensen of Rock Falls, and Ronald William Jensen of Sterling; three daughters, Debra (Robert) Meisel of Orlando, Fla., Cheryl (Daniel) Blum of Sterling, and Carol J. (Craig) Lund of Huntley; 13 grandchildren; one sister, Dolores (Kenneth) Weissenburger of Sterling; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
