DOUGLAS HUGH JOHNSON - 41, of 215 S. Main St., Ohio, was dead on arrival at Perry Memorial Hospital Wednesday afternoon due to an apparent accident at the Ohio Grain Company. Funeral services will be held Saturday with a prayer service at 9:15 a.m. at the Allen-Garland Funeral home in Walnut, followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Ohio. The Rev. Leon G. Hart, C.S.B. of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and the Rev. William Harbert, pastor of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Ohio.

Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Friday with a scripture service being held at 8 p.m. A memorial has been established in his memory.

Mr. Johnson was born April 12, 1941 in Walnut, the son of Wayne and Lola (Carey) Johnson. He was united in marriage to Mary Hart on May 14, 1965 in Chicago. He was employed at the Ohio Grain Company for the past 12 years and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Julie and Becky, both at home; one son, Jamie at home; three sisters, Mrs. Aurell (Eva Blanche) Burkey, Mrs. Tom (Lorna) Durham, both of Walnut, and Mrs. Howard (Carolyn) Anderson of Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents.
