Services Set For Robert L. Kiser

Walnut: - Robert Lynn Kiser, 49, died early Monday a.m. at the Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Catholic Church in Walnut with the Rev. Donald Schladen officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ross Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday with the Rosary at 8 p.m. A memorial has been established in his honor.

Robert Lynn Kiser was born Feb. 3, 1922 at Walnut, the son of Fletcher and Abbie Kiser. He married Josephine Miller of Harmon May 25, 1946. For many years he was associated with Gonigam, Bass and Hill Inc., and served as president of the company until ill health forced his retirement in March, 1971.

He had attended business college and Baylor University at Waco, Tex. He was a member of the American Legion and served four years in the Air Force during WW II and served several years as trustee of St. John's Catholic Church of Walnut of which he was a member.

Survivors include his widow; one daughter, Julie Lynn and one son, John Fletcher, both at home; his mother, Abbie; two sisters, Audrey Kiser, Walnut and Myrna Kiser , River Grove and one brother Carl, Rock Falls.
