Mrs. John Neahring Of New Bedford Dies

New Bedford: - Mrs. John Neahring died early this morning at her home in New Bedford after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Ross Funeral Home in Walnut with the Rev. F. Gwynne Cook of the New Bedford Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Greenville-Fairfield Cemetery.

She was born March 18, 1881 at Decheldorf, Germany, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hoffman. She came to the United States with her parents when she was a small girl and settled on a farm near Walnut. She was married in 1898.

Survivors include her husband, six sons, Arthur, Sterling; William, Doster, Ivan, and Ed, New Bedford vicinity; and Fred, Stewartville, Minn.; one daughter, Mrs. Harry (Mary) Anderson, New Bedford; 22 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
