Carl O. Nelson, Of Manlius, Dies

Manlius: - Carol O. Nelson, 76, retired farmer, died May 3, at Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton, of a heart attack. He was born March 7, 1889, in Manlius Township, to Andrew and Rebecca Nelson. He married Edna M. Herrocks, Dec. 30, 1924 in Princeton. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Manlius.

He is survived by his wife, one son, Robert O., of Sheffield; one daughter, Mrs. C. V. (Marian) Middleton of Princeton; four grandchildren, two sisters, Mabel and Blenda of Princeton; severial nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his parents, one brother, Arthur, one sister, Geneva, one half brother Oscar, and one half sister, Josephine Allen. The funeral will be Wednesday, May 5, 2 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Elwood Anderson officiating.

Visitation will be at the Howard Johnson Funeral Home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and from the church on Wednesday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Manlius Cemetery. Friends may contribute to the Trinity Lutheran memorial fund.
