James Nottingham

James Nottingham died at his home near Dover, Friday, April 5th, 1912. Mr. Nottingham was born in Tuscaraugus County, Ohio, in the year of 1843, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nottingham. He emigrated with his parents to Illinois in the year of 1853. The deceased was a member of Company B. of the Ninety third Illinois Volunteer Infantry, and was honorably discharged at the end of a three years service. He was one of a family of thirteen children of whom five are left to mourn his departure. These are as follows; Mrs. Mary a. Storms of Princeton, Mrs. Rose DeVore of Tiskilwa, John Nottingham of Tiskilwa, Joseph of Dover, and Edward of Davenport, Iowa. The funeral was held at his home Monday, April 8 at 1 o'clock. Rev. C. C. Carpenter officiating. The interment was in Mason cemetery.
