Gail Olin

Sterling --- Gail B. Olin, 69, of Sterling died Saturday, July 28, 2007, at his home

Born Feb. 6, 1938, in Princeton to Charles and Anna (Gealow) Olin, he married Rita Dettman Nov. 24, 1962, in Immanuel Church in Rock Falls, where he served as a past council member, and a member of the handbell and vocal choirs.

Also surviving are one daughter, Kris (Greg) Sandrock of Deer Grove; one son, Brent (Jennifer) Olin of Sterling; one sister, Shirley (Lawrence) Clausen of Walnut; one brother, Dick Olin of Kasbeer; one sister-in-law, Evelyn Olin of Princeton; one brother-in-law, George Lindberg of Justice; and four grandchildren, Luke, Tyler and Annie Sandrock, and Jacob Olin.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Judy Lindberg; one brother, Burt Olin; and one granddaughter Holly Ann Sandrock.

Services were held Wednesday in the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rock Falls, with the Rev. Henrietta Milner, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Knoll Memorial Park.

Visitation was held Tuesday in the McDonald Funeral Home, Rock Falls.
