James Ough

James H. Ough was born at Mt. Albert, Ontario, Canada, September 5, 1846, and died at his home in LaMoille, Illinois, January 29, 1918, at the age of 71 years, 4 months, and 24 days.

He came to LaMoille in 1865 and was married to Clara M. Cox, March 14, 1871. To this union were born five children: Clyde K., Claude (who died at the age of 26), Elsie(who died in infancy), Mrs. Grace Kleckner, and Mrs. Ruth Wagner. Besides these, he leaves a wife and four grandchildren.

Mr. Ough had been a resident of LaMoille for over 50 years and always commanded the respect of our people. His kind and genial nature drew around him many true and loving friends. Perhaps no man in LaMoille will be missed more than Mr. Ough. He has been a faithful member of the M. E. church for many years.

Three brothers as left, one in Mt. Albert, Canada, in in Washington, D. J., ans one in California.

The funeral services of Mr. Ough were held at the M. E. church Thursday, Jan. 31 at 2 p.m. Rev. Ross officiating.
