MAUDE EDNA (Black) SANDROCK PIERSON
Mrs. Maude B. Person Dies, Funeral Monday
Manlius: - Mrs. Maude Edna Black Pierson,
74, died Thursday afternoon at her home in Manlius.
The body was removed to the Johnson Funeral Home
where friends may call Sunday, 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be
conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Manlius, the
Rev. Palmer Nestlander, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the
Mrs. Pierson was born Feb. 3, 1887, the daughter
of James and Rebecca Black. She was married to William Sandrock, who
preceded her in death in 1913. She married Bert Pierson on Feb. 28, 1917.
She moved to Manlius to make her home in September 1959.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church
Survivors are three sons, Lloyd Sandrock, North
Pekin; Gilbert Pierson, Manlius; Lester Pierson, Rock Falls; two daughters,
Mrs. Delbert (Edna) Edlefson, Manlius; Mrs. George (Viva) Alund,
Bensenville,; 17 grandchildren, five great grandchildren; two brothers,
Jesse Black, Sterling; Floyd Black, Fenton; and one sister, Mrs. James
(Mabel) Atchley, Rock Falls.
She was preceded in death by Mr. Pierson and one
brother, Arthur Black.
