AMIEL PIERSON
Amiel Pierson, Princeton, Dies
Manlius: - Amiel Pierson, 86, Princeton,
retired farmer, died Saturday at Princeton. Funeral services will be held
Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Yorktown Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Joel Rustad
officiating. Burial will be in Yorktown Cemetery. Friends may visit
at the Howard Johnson Funeral Home at Manlius, from 7-9 p.m. Monday.
Memorials may be directed to the Yorktown Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
Amiel Pierson was born Nov. 13, 1886 in
Fairfield Township, the son of Nels and Anna Peterson Pierson. He married
Anna Lickhard Jan. 16, 1907. He was a member of the Yorktown Lutheran
Church.
Survivors include two sons, Vernon, Sheffield,
and Clarence, Forreston; one daughter, Mrs. Howard (Arlene) Hansen, Tampicop
11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his
wife, two brothers and six sisters.
