Mrs. Nina Piper Dies Saturday

Walnut: - Mrs. Nina Piper, 78, RR 1, Broadhead, Wis., died Saturday at her home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Ross Funeral Home at Walnut. Friends may visit the funeral home Tuesday from 10-12 noon. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Rosman, Uehling, Kinzer, Cranston Road Chapel at Beloit, Wis. Burial will be in Walnut Cemetery.

Mrs. Piper was born June 16, 1895 at Walnut, the daughter of John and Sylvia Major Fordham. She married Eugene Piper Oct. 29, 1913.

Survivors include five sons, Cecil and Virden, Amboy; Elden, Beloit, Wis.; Elton, Orfordville; Ronald, Broadhead, Wis.; four daughters, Mrs. Lubie (Doris) Ramos, Ohio; Mrs. David (Sylvia) Perkins, Caladonia; Mrs. Ronald (Ila) Christopherson, S. Beloit, Wis.; Mrs. Gordon (Dona) Tucker, Beloit, Wis.; 41 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Homer (Minerva) Henson, Rock Falls; and one brother, John Fordham, Dixon.

She was preceded by her husband, five children and seven brothers.
