OBITUARY
LENA (Lidgard) SASH
Walnut: - Funeral services for Mrs. Clyde (Lena)
Sash were held Monday morning at 10 a.m. at the Ross Funeral Home in Walnut,
with the Rev. Harold Burkey officiating. Organist was Mrs. John Foss and
soloist was Mrs. Owen Hurst. Pallbearers were Donald Sash, Charles Sash,
Stephen Sash, Michael Sash, LeRoy Rolio and James Christiansen. Interment
was at Pittsfield.
Mrs. Sash passes away Saturday afternoon at her
home in Walnut. She was born August 29, 1889 in Pike County, Chamberberg,
the daughter of Alphuis and Jenny Lidgard. She was married to Clyde Sash on
Sept. 13, 1905 in Chamberberg. She was a member of the First Christian
Church in Walnut, Christian Womens Fellowship, War Mothers and Royal
Neighbors of America.
She is survived by five sons, Paul of Wyanet,
Wayne of Walnut, Karl of Detroit, Mich.; Clyde of Morton, and Glenn of San
Antonio, Tex., two daughters Miss Lucille Sash of Walnut, and Mrs. Horace
(Neva) Setser of Fort Worth, Tex., one sister, Mrs. Lota Riley and one
brother, Harry Lidgard both of Pittsfield; 11 grandchildren and 13 great
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one
grandson.
