OBITUARY

 

EDWARD SCHMIDGALL


Tiskilwa --- Edward E. Schmidgall, 87, of 10560 1800 East St., Tiskilwa, died at 5 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2005, at St. Margaret's Hospital in Spring Valley.

He was born May 6, 1917, in Morton to Otto and Mary (Bauman) Schmidgall.

He was a retired farmer. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the Christian Apostolic Church in Forrest.

Surviving are his wife, Viola Albrecht Beams Schmidgall of Tiskilwa; one stepson, Delmar (Eleanor) Beams of Tiskilwa; two brothers, Harold (Ethel) Schmidgall and Marvin (Dorothy) Schmidgall, both of Eureka; one step granddaughter, Leslee Beams (David) Stacker of La Salle; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today, Saturday, in the Norberg Memorial Home, Princeton, with pastors from the Christian Apostolic Church in Forrest officiating.

Burial will be in the Mount Bloom Cemetery, Tiskilwa.

Visitation will be one hour before the services in the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the Tiskilwa Ambulance Service or the charity of the donor's choice.
