Mrs. Robert A. (Bertha) Scott

Mrs. Robert A. Scott, 72, of 522 Elliott St. died at 13:25 a.m. today at Kewanee Public Hospital.

She was born April 13, 1888, in Osceola, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Canham. In 1910, she married Robert Allen Scott at Neponset, and he died February 25,1960.

Surviving are three children, Lawence Scott of Perry, Mo., Dean Scott of Neponset, Mrs. Irvan (Helen) Olsen of Sheffield; three grandchildren, three sisters; Mrs. Mary Alice Canham of Chicago, Mrs. J. O. (Agnes) Armstrong of Kewanee, Miss Ruth Canham of Neponset, and two brothers, Albert Canham of Wataga and George E. Canham of Neponset.

Mrs. Scott was a member of the First Methodist Church of Kewanee and the Berean class, also the Senior Citizens Society of the church.

Funeral rites will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Seifert- Creamer Funeral Home, where visitation will be Thursday evening. The Rev. Kermit C. Gregory, pastor of the First Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Floral Hill cemetery, Neponset.

Members of the Berean class and the Mary Circle of which Mrs. Scott was a member are asked to attend the funeral service in a group.
