Mrs. Lula Mae Scott

Neponset --Mrs. Lula Mae Scott, 85, of Neponset, died Saturday night at the St. Francis Hospital in Kewanee.

She was born July 9, 1875 in Bristol, Ill., daughter of Daniel and Mary Alice Terpening Hanson. In 1891 she married William Glaze, who died in 1907. On July 7, 1929, she married Sidney Scott, who died in 1937.

Surviving are one sister Mrs. Howard (Dolly) Dysart of Granville, a daughter Mrs. Mabel Rollins of Neponset, a son Scott Glaze of Dixon, eight grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and one son.

Mrs. Scott was a member of the First Methodist Church of Neponset.

Funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Seifert-Cramer Funeral Home, Kewanee, where visitation will be Monday evening. The Rev. Fred Foster, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Neponset will officiate. Interment will be in Floral Hill Cemetery, Neponset.
