Warren K. Sergeant

PRINCETON -- Warren K. Sergeant, 85, of 500 S. Main St., died at 8:05 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, 1999, at Prairie View Home.

Born Feb. 17, 1914, in Tampico to George and Lillian Hellmuth Sergeant, he married Marjorie Wilson on March 12, 1937. She died Jan. 30, 1990.

Four brothers also preceded him in death. Surviving are one son, Stephen of Peoria; one daughter, Lynn (Gary) Isaacson of Princeton; and four grandchildren.

He owned a shoe repair business and later worked for L.C.N. Co., retiring after 30 years as the "tool crib" foreman.

He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Princeton.

Private services will be at the Summers Chapel in the Oakland Cemetery. The Rev. Kim Peterson will officiate. There will be no visitation. Cremation will be accorded.

Burial of ashes will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery.

Jensen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to his church.
