Walnut: - Mrs. Lola Mae Stocking, 89, Rfd. 1, Walnut, died Sunday afternoon at the Colonial Hall Nursing Home, Princeton.

Funeral services will be held in the Norberg Funeral Home, Princeton, on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Forrest Hergert, pastor of the United Methodist, Walnut, officiating. Burial will be in the Prairie Repose Cemetery, Dover. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from noon till the time of services.

Memorials may be directed to the Walnut Rescue Unit.

Lola Mae Stocking was born on Nov. 2, 1893 in Dover Township in Bureau County, the daughter of J.P. (Pete) and Mary Etta Cork McCall. On Jan. 4, 1915 she married Leslie Stocking in Princeton. He preceded her in death in February of 1969. They farmed in the Princeton and Walnut Area.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Hazel) Lauritzen and Mrs. Roy (Alice) Skaggs, both of Walnut; one brother, Elmer McCall, Princeton; one sister, Mrs. Lee (Hazel) Hayen, Walnut; five grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, one brother, Claude, one sister, Laura, and one great grandson.
