Harold Swanson

Princeton -- Harold E. Swanson, 58, of 725 W. Central Ave., died Thursday night.
He was born Sept. 27, 1908, in Princeton, the son of August and Emily Anderson Swanson. He married Orpha L. Wilson, who survives.

Also surviving are one son Gary E. Swanson, a student at Wisconsin State University at Platteville; five brothers, George, Russell and Richard, all of Princeton, Gordon of Chicago, and Leonard Swanson of Peoria; and two sisters, Mrs. Carl Linn of Princeton, and Mrs. Wayne Mohr of Manlius. One sister and two brothers preceded him in death.

Mr. Swanson was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Princeton, where services will be at 3 p.m. tomorrow, the Rev. Walter M. Chellberg officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be this afternoon and evening at the Norbert Memorial Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Lutheran Church building fund.
