Mrs. Will Swanson Is Buried On Sunday

Prophetstown: - Funeral services were held Sunday in the Gardner Chapel at 3 p.m. for Mrs. Will Swanson, 59, who died Friday morning. The Rev. C. A. Bentson, pastor of the Lutheran Church, officiated. Burial was in the Walnut Cemetery. Mrs. Everett Wilkinson sang , accompanied by Mrs. Harold Anderson. Pallbearers were Darwin Anderson, Jack McNeill, Lester Swanson, Russell Brooks, Hammon Lawnrece and Elmer Pletsch. In charge of flowers were Mrs. Darwin Anderson, Mrs. Clarence Maxwell and Mrs. Karl Swanson.

Mrs. Swanson was also survived by one half-sister, Mrs. J. (Fannie) Singpiel of El Paso, Tex., and two half brothers, John and William Vosberg of Dovary, Minn.

Out of town persons attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Herman Vosberg and son James, Mrs. Raymond Vosberg, Mr. and Mrs. John Lucht of Worthington Minn.,; John Vosberg, William Vosberg and son Leland, Adolph Vosberg of Dovary, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Jones of Cisne, Mr. and Mrs. Arlando Thompson, Charles Thompson of Johnsonville; Mr. and Mrs. Hobart Thompson and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Yon of Marva; Mr. and Mrs. Charles McGinnis of Galesburg. Others were also present from Lombard, Minoch, Rockford, Davenport, Rock Island, Moline, Colona, Manlius, New Windsor, Geneseo, Sterling, Rock Falls, Hooppole and Erie.
