OBITUARY

 

AGNES R. (Turner) UHLER

Prophetstown: - Mrs. Agnes R. Uhler, 75, of Prophetstown, died Wednesday evening at Morrison Community Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Advent Christian Church with the Rev. Robert Hett officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Prophetstown. Visitation is from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Gardner Chapel, Prophetstown. A memorial has been established to the Prophets Riverview Good Samaritan Center.

Mrs. Uhler was born Aug. 11, 1905 in Prophetstown, the daughter of Wallace and Mary (Firman) Turner. She was educated in the Prophetstown schools. She was united in marriage to Harvey Uhler of Pine Grove, Pennsylvania, on Aug. 11, 1931 in DeKalb. She resided in the Prophetstown area all her life.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Betty) Dennis of Prophetstown, Mrs. Ted (Josephine) Radmacher of Jefferson City, Missouri, and Mrs. Daniel (Mary) Garland of Morrison; one son, Harvey Jr., of Prophetstown; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1965; two sons, one grandson and one step-sister.
