THOMAS JEFFERSON VICKREY, 90, DIES; RITES
Funeral services for Thomas Jefferson Vickrey,
90, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Norberg Memorial home with the Rev.
James Smucker, pastor of the Dover Congregational church officiating. Burial
will be in Prairie Repose cemetery.
Mr. Vickrey died Monday night at Perry Memorial
hospital where he had been a patient for the past two weeks.
He was born Oct. 24, 1863, in Dover township,
the son of Martin and Sarah Cork Vickrey. He was a farmer and made his home
near Green Oak.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Ruth
Steele, Green Oak; Mrs. June Weber, Canton, Ohio; Mrs. Gertrude Fagen,
Naperville, and Miss Geneva, at home, Orville, Ohio; Maurice and John,
Princeton, and Ellis, Dover.
Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 11 great
Mr. Vickrey was preceded in death by his parents
and his wife.
