Lee Wright Rites Thursday

Tampico: - Funeral rites for Lee E. Wright, 71, who died Tuesday in Sterling Community General Hospital, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Schmitt Chapel with the Rev. Clarke Devore of the Tampico Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield-Greenville Cemetery.

There is visitation from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Schmitt Chapel. A memorial has been established.

Lee E. Wright was born April 2, 1902 in Greenville Township, the son of Washington and Anna Pettit Wright. He was educated in the Bureau County Schools and was united in marriage with Stella B. Purvis June 4, 1927. He had resided in the Tampico vicinity nine years and was a member of the Tampico Church of Christ.

Surviving with Mrs. Wright are four daughters, Mrs. Richard (Gailya) Chapin, Mrs. Charles (Lucille) Lucas and Mrs. Kenneth (Charlele) Grimes of Tampico and Mrs. James (Ila Jean) Behrens of Prophetstown. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a brother Fred of Tampico and a half-sister, Mrs. Hazel Donaldson of Rock Falls. Preceding in death were his parents, two half-sisters and two grandchildren in infancy.
