Malden -- Virden L. Wright, 72, of 201 S. Cherry
St., Malden, died at 12:17 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2005, at Colonial Hall
Care in Princeton.
Born April 21, 1932, in Malden to W. Fred and
Celia (Wilson) Wright, he married Nancy Weber March 27, 1975. She survives.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the
Korean War. He had been employed by the city of Mendota.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church
Also surviving are eight children, Gary (Tami)
Wagner of Bradenton, Fla., Curt (Maryann) Wagner of LaPlace, LA, Gene (Mikki)
Wagner of Texas, Vickie Wagner of Bradenton, Fla., Scott (Dana) Wagner of
Sheffield, Harold (Mary) Ratajczak of Denton, Rita Zenor of Sparland and
Robert (Sharon) Ratajczak of Manlius; one sister, Dolores Karns; three
brothers, Ferris (Donna) Wright, Charles (Rosemary) Wright and Max Wright;
one half brother, Donald Grabill; one half sister, Ruth Karns; 23
grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his
first wife, Naida Clark Wagner, in 1974.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today, Thursday in
Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Cherry, with the Rev. Kevin Gorman
officiating. Burial, with graveside military rites, will be in the Malden
Visitation and a scripture service were held
Wednesday in the Norberg Memorial Home, Princeton.

or Friends of Strays.
