Mrs. Minnie Yonk, 92, Dies At Residence In Walnut; Funeral There Tuesday

Mrs.Minnie Yonk, 92, passed away at 1 a.m. Sunday at the home in Walnut. Funeral services will be at the Ross Chapel in Walnut at 1 p.m. Tuesday, with Rev. L. E. Weinreich officiating. Committal will be in the Yorktown Cemetery.

Mrs. Yonk was born in Germany and came to the United States in 1894 and was married the same year to John Yonk. They farmed at Thomas for three years and then moved to Walnut. Mr. Yonk passed away in 1902. She was a member of the Yorktown Lutheran Church.

Surviving are one son, Otto Yonk, Walnut; one grandson and one granddaughter and one step-daughter, Mrs. Mary Johnson of Cherry.
