Illinois Ancestors Tombstone Project tazewell hawley

Starting from Koch and S. 14th St. (on the south edge of Pekin), travel south on 14th street for 2 1/2 miles. On the left side is an empty farm house. Thee are several farm buildings on the property. Walk the lane past the white farm. On your left will be an old wooden fence. After passing the barn, walk 40-50 yards to a bend in the fence. Go under the fence and climb the hill, working your way east for about 100 steps. Wear protective clothing as the brush is thick with many thorns. Only 2 stones are standing. Thanks to Doris Fahnders for knowing where this cemetery is located. Information provided by Carole Martin.
