Saunders-Blackaby Cemetery

Saunders-Blackaby Cemetery is located in the northeast portion of Section 23 in Putman Township.  Travel Highway 5 in a southwesterly direction until you see Gale Road (1565E).  Turn left on Gale and follow it as it winds around.  You'll eventually see the cemetery on your left a few yards from the road. Many heartfelt thanks to the person who takes such good care of this cemetery!

I have visited this cemetery several times over the years, in an effort to write down all the inscriptions that I could read.  Unfortunately, there were quite a few tombstones that were unreadable, either because the elements had worn down the engravings or because the stones were lying face down in the ground and I was unable to lift them.  So if you know of any people that I have missed, I will gladly add them to this webpage for the benefit of all researchers!  Thank you for understanding!
