Freeman Cemetery is
located in Section 6 of Isabel Township. The road that takes you to the cemetery is called Mile Load Road off of Route 136. When
coming from Lewistown or up from Astoria on Route 24, you turn onto Route 136,
west at Duncan Mills junction...and the very first road on Route 136 you come
to on the right side of the road, you will turn right. Go down it about 2 miles
and Freeman cemetery will be there. There is a sign. The Cemetery overlooks the
Spoon River Valley and Duncan Mills area.
