There is a museum that is going to be constructed next to the school and will house the original log cabin believed to be owned by John Easley. It was blown down by a tornado a few years, but all pieces have been salvaged and will be put together in original order.  Alphabet cards that were used in schools above the blackboard are on the list of items needed for the school. Period clothing is also needed.
