November Term, A. D. 1923

 

In the Matter of the Estate of Eugene Churchill, Deceased.

The following is a full and perfect Inventory of all the Real and Personal Estate of the said deceased, so far as same has come to the possession or knowledge of the undersigned Emma Churchill Executrix of said Estate.

Real Estate

One farm consisting of One Hundred Seventy (170) Acres, located, to-wit:

120 acres  E ¾ S. W., Section 33                      $24,000

50 acres    W 5/8 s N. W. Section 33                $10,000

 

One House and lot located E. E. Johnson 2nd addition, lot #19    $2,800

One House and lot located Lewis’s add, Lot #3                           $4,500

 

Household furniture consisting of furniture, bedding, dishes, etc., piano, victrola, clocks, etc.     $1,500

 

The following articles are the same articles as appears in the inventory heretofore filed by W. L. Owens, in the partnership estate, which said property was appraised by appraisers heretofore appointed by this court, and said articles and the value thereof are herein filed, to-wit:

In the Estate of Eugene Churchill, Deceased.

 

STATE OF ILLINOIS,}

FULTON COUNTY.} ss.       In County Court, October Term, A. D. 1923

 

The People of the State of Illinois, to Albert Seaton, Bryar Fitzhenry and Thomas Lightle of the County of Fulton and State of Illinois, GREETING:

 

This is to authorize you, jointly, to appraise the goods, chattels and personal estate of the firm of Eugene Churchill and W. L. Owens and of which Eugene Churchill last of the County of Fulton and State of Illinois, deceased, was a member, so far as the same shall come to your sight and knowledge, each of you having first taken the oath hereto annexed; a certificate whereof you are to return, annexed to an Appraisement Bill of said goods, chattels and personal estate, by you appraised, in dollars and cents, to W. L. Owens the surviving member of said firm, on or by the 10th day of November next, to be by such member of said firm returned on or by the 17th day of November next.

 

And in said Bill of Appraisement you are to set down in a column or columns opposite each article appraised, the value thereof.

OATH OF APPRAISERS

You, each of you, do solemnly swear that you will well and truly, without partiality or prejudice, value and appraise the goods, chattels and personal estate of the firm of Eugene Churchill and W. L. Owens, of which one Eugene Churchill deceased, was a member, so far as the same shall come to your sight and knowledge; and that you will in all respects perform your duties as appraisers to the best of your skill and judgment.

An Appraisement Bill of goods, chattels and personal estate of the firm of Eugene Churchill and W. L. Owens of which Eugene Churchill late of said County, deceased, was a member, so far as the same has come to our sight or knowledge, which appraisement has been made by us by virtue of the annexed warrant from the County Court of said County, we having been first duly sworn, as required by law.

The following is a full and perfect Inventory of the real and personal estate which belonged to the firm of Churchill and Owens, composed of the following persons, to-wit: Eugene Churchill and W. L. Owens and of which Eugene Churchill is deceased, was at the time of his death, a member, and which belonged to said firm at the time of his disease, and in which deceased had interest.

FULTON COUNTY} ss. I, W. L. Owens do solemnly swear that the foregoing is a true and correct Inventory and Exhibit of the Real and Personal Estate belonging to the firm of Eugene Churchill and W. L. Owens at the time of the death of him, the said Eugene Churchill deceased, of which I have any knowledge up to this date.
