Your petitioner Eugenie C. Neece respectfully states:

1. That Mary E. Churchill, a resident of Avon in the County of Fulton, and State of Illinois, died on the Ninth day of July 1944, at Avon, Illinois, leaving no Last Will.

2. That the approximate value of the real and personal estate of the decedent in this State is as follows:

Personal estate not to exceed in value    $ 500.00

Real estate not to exceed in value          $3500.00

3. That the names and post offices addresses of all heirs are as follows:

4. That your petitioner, whose post office address is La Moine Hotel, Macomb, Illinois is a resident of the State of Illinois, is a daughter of said decedent, and is legally qualified to petition for Letters.

5. Wherefore your petitioner prays that Letters of Administration issue to Lachlan Crissey whose address is Lewistown, Illinois who is a resident of the State of Illinois and who is legally qualified to act.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS that Lachlan Crissey has been appointed Administrator of the estate of MARY E. CHURCHILL, deceased, who died on the 9th day of July, 1944 and is authorized to sue for and collect the personal estate of and debts due the decedent, and is authorized to perform all duties imposed on him so far as there is property and the law charges him; and to do all other acts now or hereafter required of him by law.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS That we Lachlan Crissey, M. B. Boyd and of the County of Fulton and State of Illinois are bound to the people of the State of Illinois in the penal sum of $1000.00, lawful money of the United States, for the payment of which we and each of us bind ourselves and our heirs, executors, and administrators jointly and severally by these presents.

THE CONDITION OF THIS OBLIGATION IS SUCH That if the said Lachlan Crissey, Administrator of the estate of Mary E. Churchill, deceased, faithfully discharges the duties of his office according to law and does all acts which at any time may be required of him by law or by a court, then this obligation is void; otherwise it remains in full force.

East of the 4th P. M. [Principal Meridian] bounded and described as

follows, towit:

Commencing One Hundred Seventy-two feet East of the Northwest

Corner of Corporation Lot Number Eighteen thence West Sixty feet,

Thence South One Hundred Sixty-six feet Ten inches to the place of

Beginning, situated in the Village of Avon, County of Fulton and State

of Illinois.                                                                                        $3200.00

(This inventory if filed to correct an error in the description of this real estate contained in the original inventory filed in this estate.)

Note: Within sixty days after the issuance of his letters an executor or administrator must file an inventory of all the decedent’s real and personal estate and any cause of action on which he may sue. The inventory shall describe the real estate, improvements and incumbrances thereon, amount of money on hand, shall list all personal estate other than cash and chattels as “good”, “doubtful” or “desperate” and shall be signed and verified by the person making the inventory.

The undersigned further reports that said property was sold upon the terms specified I said order and in said notice of sale; that said sale was largely attended and conducted fairly and in accordance with said order for said sale.
