John P Mc Cleary died in Tuesday, January 1, 1907 , aged 23 years, 10 months and 4 days. He was stricken with pneumonia Christmas night and death came within a week.

John Mc Cleary was born and lived all his life in this vicinity. He was a sober, steady and industrious young man, kind and generous with his fellows, he was a favorite with his acquaintances.

He leaves surviving him, his mother, Mrs. Rose Mc Cleary, and three brothers and five sisters, who have the sympathy of a large circle of friends. The father Patrick Mc Cleary, died January 5, 1905 .

The funeral takes place today, the services being held at St. Patrick’s Chapel at 10:30 A.M.
